About me

I am currently looking for internships. Please feel free to reach out if you have relevant opportunities.

I am a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS) at Duke University, advised by Prof. Xiaoyue Ni. My current research focuses on large language models (LLMs) for healthcare: using LLMs to interpret signals from wearable and wireless sensors and developing LLM-based assistive systems for patients with neurological conditions.

Before Duke, I received both my B.S. and M.S. in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, where I worked with Prof. Ji Wu. My earlier work spans both foundational computer vision (with papers at ECCV) and medical AI applications, including spinal condition diagnosis from X-ray images, and multimodal decision support for diabetes care.

Across these projects, I focus on interpretable AI systems that clinicians can understand and trust. I also value long-term collaborations and have worked in multi-year research partnerships with TowardPi and SenseTime to build AI systems that remain useful and maintainable beyond a single study.
